JMS Corporation is located in the historical downtown area of Tokyo called Yanagibashi. Near to the world famous electric town of Akihabara, Yanagibashi is currently known all over Japan for its wholesale district. The streets are lined with various shops selling apparel, bags, accessories, interior items, dolls, toys, plastic models, and stationary.
In the old days, Yanagibashi proved to be a playground for those coming to Tokyo. Located at the meeting point of both the Sumida and Kanda rivers, many people stopped to eat and drink at the various shops and geisha houses that lined the streets. Even today visitors can see traditional houses with black walls that were often the sign of Geisha houses where music constantly played and tea ceremonies performed.
Yanagibashi is a city full of history and culture, we at JMS are very pleased to call it our home.
