E.L.A, an abbreviation of English Lacrosse Association, resulted from the combination of the E.L.U (Men’s League) and A.E.W.L.A (Women’s League) in 1997. The sport of lacrosse had its origins with the Native American Indians of North America, spreading to England during the late 1800s. E.L.A draws upon the history of the sport and its evolution in contemporary times in the development of its fashion lines for men, women and children.
